Not at all! In fact, only ONE of the four juicers actually make cold-pressed juice.
The extracting process for centrifugal (most common household juicer), masticating, and twin-gear juicers do not involve pressing the ingredients at all! Instead, the produce is forced through a sharp metal screen.
Why does this matter? The problem is in the process. By forcing the ingredients through the screen, it generates both heat and oxidation and therefore, damages all the wonderful nutrients you are trying to drink! The result is a pulpy, foamy juice that separates quickly, has damaged nutrients, and up to 30% of solids per serving (ex. skins, seeds, stems, and indigestible fiber).
So how do you get that beautifully smooth and tasty juice? That's where the four juicer comes into play: the Hydraulic (or Pneumatic) Juice Press.
